For us Estate Agents it is really-really difficult not to fall in love with some of the properties we list. I have listed and valued many properties throughout my career, and it is not common for me to fall in love with a property since you get to be a bit picky when you work in this business. Now, finding a property without negative selling points is basically impossible yet I think I have found one with little or close to none! When I interviewed our vendor, I wondered why they were selling. They said that although they have enjoyed the property for the last 18 years, it was now time for them to spend more time in their own country. They have enjoyed every single moment in the villa, and you can see that they have made this place their Spanish home. Now it is time for this property to have a new owner who will enjoy it as much as they have. If the main picture has got your attention, read further because this villa is way more than just a property. As I walked into the garden, the property is on my left, and a chill-out area with jacuzzi on the right with the solar heated swimming pool in front. This layout makes it ideal for those loving the sun as the house with two terraces and pool are South facing. The plot is large (400 square meters) but not too large, ideal for those, like me, who want to have their privacy with a reasonable sized swimming pool (8 x 4 meters), carport and off-road parking, space for the children (or grandchildren) to mess around and area where I can relax with my friends or just enjoy a proper Spanish nap! Leaving the pool area, you come to a superb sunny terrace where I could see myself having a lovely dinner with my friends and family! From this terrace you can see the swimming pool and the garden. It gave a lovely, homely feeling and it made me feel very comfortable. In fact, this was the place where we discussed the marketing conditions for this property with our vendor. I was really excited to see the inside, as the outside was gorgeous – it is not easy finding a traditional Spanish villa anymore. Most of the new builds nowadays look like they came straight from IKEA and this villa is completely different and it does make you feel like you are in Spain. I was invited by the owner to look around the villa and as I walked into the property more surprises were there for me to see. On the ground floor we have the main living room and dining room, leading to a separate kitchen, a full bathroom and a double bedroom. Now, there is more on this floor, the property has an extra bedroom with its own kitchenette and a sofa bed, this making it ideal for guests or, in my case, my man’s cave. Now, another good point about this extra studio/bedroom is the fact that it has direct access to the garden and pool so visitors have their privacy. Last but not least, under the stairs there is a storage room which the current owners are using for the washing machine and storage. We walked to the upper level via the internal staircase. Once again, the property delivers, we have got two bedrooms and an office/craft room. To the left of the landing is the master bedroom with a king size 4 poster bed, its own ensuite bathroom and a fantastic terrace looking down on the pool and garden. To the right of the landing is the office/craft room and access to a further sun terrace with a view to the sea. There is also a further double bedroom with full bathroom including bath and separate shower. The property is sold fully-furnished and is literally ready to move into. The structure, as well as the quality of the build is outstanding, so no major works are needed. The location of the property is ideal. Based within walking distance to the amenities and a short drive to La Zenia Boulevard as well as Playa Flamenca, Campoamor and La Zenia Beaches. The area is mostly residential which offers a quiet and peaceful life but within easy walking distance of local bars, restaurants, and shops. For golfing enthusiasts, VIllamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor Golf Courses are within a five-minute drive of the villa. I find this property ideal for those dreaming of owning a traditional Spanish Mediterranean property with plenty of potential and located in one of the best residential areas of Orihuela Costa. If you are looking for a very special property, I strongly recommend arranging a viewing as soon as possible because it will not last long on the market!
