The well-known reservoir “Embalse de la Pedrera” is a mile away from the village in the direction of Orihuela. It is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve with many different species of birds and where you can observe a spectacular sunset. The village comprises a health centre, pharmacy, garage, petrol station, some small stores and several bars and restaurants. Once a week there is a small market.
